How to Register Ejari in Dubai (Online & Offline)
There are two main ways to register your tenancy contract with Ejari in Dubai — online through official platforms or offline via authorised service centres. Both methods ensure your lease is legally recognised by the Dubai Land Department (DLD) and RERA.
- Download the Dubai REST app from the Google Play Store or Apple App Store, or visit the official Dubai Land Department (DLD) website.
- Log in using your UAE Pass (or create a new account if you don’t have one).
- Select “Register Ejari Contract” from the available services menu.
- Enter property and contract details, including rental amount, contract duration, and start date.
- Upload all required documents, such as your tenancy contract, Emirates ID, passport copy, and title deed.
- Submit the application for DLD review.
- The landlord or authorised representative must approve the request digitally.
- Pay the Ejari registration fees online through the secure payment portal.
- Once approved, you’ll receive your Ejari certificate electronically via email or within the app.
- Visit the nearest authorised Ejari service centre.
- Bring all original documents and clear copies (tenant ID, landlord ID, title deed, tenancy contract, etc.).
- The staff will enter your contract details into the official Ejari system.
- Pay the Ejari registration fee at the counter.
- Once processed, you’ll receive your printed Ejari certificate or a digital download link for your records.
Online Ejari registration is quicker, but offline registration is ideal for first-time users who need help ensuring all documents meet DLD requirements.
